Stat-Ease Design Expert 11.1.0.1 – Make breakthrough improvements to a product or process.

Stat-Ease Design Expert 11.1.0.1

Make breakthrough improvements to a product or process with Design-Expert software. You can not only detect vital factors but also locate the ideal processes for superior performance and find optimal product formulations. Easily visualize response surface from all angles with rotating 3D graphics. Set flags and explore interactive graphics 2D contours; and use numerical optimization function to find the maximum desirability for dozens of responses simultaneously.

Stat-Ease, Inc. welcomes you to version 11 software Design-Expert (DX11) for the design of experiments (DOE). Use this Windows® – based program to optimize your product or process. It provides many powerful, statistical tools such as:

Factorial designs evaluation of two levels: Identify the vital factors that affect your process or product so you can make innovative improvements.
General factorial studies: find the best combination of categorical factors such as the source versus the type of feedstock supply.
Response surface methods (RSM): find the optimal process settings to achieve maximum performance.
Mix design techniques: Discover the ideal solution for your product formulation recipe.
Combinations of process factors, blending components and categorical factors: your cake mix (with different ingredients) and bake too!
Design and analysis of split – plot: make your experiment much easier by grouping factors difficult process of changing and / or components of the mixture.
Your Design-Expert program provides 3D graphics rotating to easily visualize the response surface from all angles. Use your mouse to set flags and explore the contours 2D interactive graphics. Our numerical optimization function finds the maximum desirability for dozens of responses simultaneously!

You will find a lot of statistical details in the program through various help screens. Take advantage of this goldmine of information is literally at your fingertips. Also, do not overlook useful annotations provided in all reports.

For a useful collection of checklists and “cue sheets” see Manual for experimenters. It’s free for all registered users. In addition, for quick information on the principles of design and analysis, we recommend you read the following two paperbacks of directors Stat-Ease Mark Anderson and Pat Whitcomb, published by Productivity Press of New York City:

DOE Simplified: practical tools for effective experimentation, 3rd edition
Simplified RSM: process optimization using response surface methods for designing experiments.
Anderson and Whitcomb have also written a manual on mix design. It is published free for all to read through the link “I am a formulizador” on the home page of Stat-Ease.
