Apple has seeded a new build of OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion to developers, with instructions to look for bugs in key areas like Graphics Drivers, Safari and Wi-Fi.
Developers can download the new Mountain Lion test build using the OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility. OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion asks programmers enrolled with Apple’s annual development program to test out Graphics Drivers, Safari, and Wi-Fi.
“This is a pre-release update to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8, including Delta and Combo Update installers,” Apple states. “Please refer to the seed note for more details and complete installation instructions,” the company adds.
If Apple takes as long as it did with OS X 10.8.3 to release the final version of OS X 10.8.4 to the public, we can expect it to be the last maintenance update dedicated to the Mountain Lion operating system.
