After using the code with terminal the app Davinci does not open. Does anyone have any idea?
Here it opens after about 1 minute after the double click. But it is not the Studio version, but the free version. You will realize this, because the object mask on the color page is missing. And the the “about” menu says only “Davinci Resolve 18” and not “Davinci Resolve Studio 18”!
The new Beta 5 here now is the true Studio version of Davinci Resolve! My last comment from June 14, 2022 applied to the Beta 4 (or 3; I do not remember exactly). Seems to work fine on Intel Macs on Big Sur!
Doesn’t work on 18.1. It asks for activation key.

Excuse me, what are you doing sharing huge files forcing us to buy accounts, instead of splitting them in 900MB files ? Are you selling cracked software ? Is this really morally defendable ?

to save end exit from vim first hit ESC to get out of INSERT MODE, then type “:” , i.e. hit “Shift+;” so that you can then type “wq” and hit enter to save and exit.
then in Terminal outside of vim, type `sudo chmod +x patch.sh` and enter your password to make the patch executable.
run while being in the Applications folders where the patch and the app folder are at, by typing, `./patch.sh`
it should say “No such xattr: com.apple.quarantine
/Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app: replacing existing signature”,
give it a minute to finish and give you control back to type, (don’t type ctrl+z to cancel early).
That should be it, it is working for me so far but I have only just opened it. No problems so far.
